Here are a few pictures of a decoupaged box I made for my mother in-law for Mother's Day. I used a Lipton Tea box and covered it with some pretty paper, pasted a beautiful die of an 18th century dancing couple, trimmed it with gold lace & trim and covered the inside with a matching fabric and finally added a tassel for the closure.
This page will be dedicated primarily to postings about projects I've done or am working on or that you may want to try... or just interesting crafting ideas that I come across.
Sorry, I haven't worked on this in a while. I'll try to get back to it soon and add more photos.
Check out my brief "show & tell" video of my version of an "exploding card." I will have my instructions to follow this soon.

This is one of my art journals that I recently started. I'm not sure where I'm headed, but that's one of the best parts of an art journal "journey." For this journal, I purchased a BLANK BOARD BOOK by C&T Publishing. This one is 6 x 6 and has 7 pages. I will only be able to do flat work as I don't want to take any of the thick pages out (there are only 7 anyway) and the spine is more like a traditional book so it doesn't accommodate any raised objects. So far I'm coloring with Mars Graphic Duo brush watercolor markers and Tombow watercolor markers along with liner and pigment pens and other fine tip pens and stamp pad inks (specifics on pens & inks coming soon.) The surface of the paper is smooth and soft and has a soft tooth...just enough to hold the application of colors nicely. I will update this post as I progress.
I will post some how-to's soon.
